Vehicle Fitment

We fit decals, partial wraps and fleet branding graphics cleanly, so your vehicle leaves with a neat finish and a clear message on the road. Based in Paarl and serving Wellington and the wider Boland, we handle fitment for cars, bakkies, vans, trailers and work fleets with careful prep and practical advice.

Vehicle fitment that looks right and lasts on the road

Good vehicle branding starts with proper fitment. The surface must be clean, the panel lines must be checked, and the graphics must sit where they can be seen without lifting or stretching over bad curves. We fit simple vinyl decals, partial wraps, reflective safety markings and fleet graphics for businesses, riders and contractors across Paarl, Wellington, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Worcester and Malmesbury.

Our fitment work is done for everyday use in the Boland, where vehicles deal with sun, dust, rain, coastal humidity in some areas and long hours on the road. That means careful surface prep, accurate positioning and the right film choice for the job. Whether you need one bakkie branded or a full fleet matched across several vehicles, we keep the finish tidy and readable.

  • Clean application of cut vinyl decals and printed graphics
  • Partial wraps for bonnets, doors, tailgates and side panels
  • Fleet branding for consistent placement across multiple vehicles
  • Reflective and high visibility safety markings where required
  • Removal of old graphics before new fitment if needed

What is included in the fitment service

Every fitment job starts with checking the vehicle condition and the artwork size against the actual panel space. We look at handles, seams, rivets, body moulds and window shapes so the final result makes sense on the vehicle, not just on a screen. If the artwork needs a minor adjustment for fit, our studio team handles that before installation.

The service can include surface cleaning, degreasing, alignment marks, application, trimming, post-heat on shaped areas and a final check after fitting. For larger vehicles and fleet work, we can plan fitment in stages so the vehicle can get back on the road faster. If you need magnets for removable branding, or contra-vision on rear windows, we can include that in the same job where suitable.

  • Panel inspection and layout planning before installation
  • Surface cleaning and preparation for better adhesion
  • Precise placement for text, logos and contact details
  • Trimming around handles, badges and edge lines
  • Final inspection for bubbles, lift points and alignment

Our fitting process from booking to handover

We keep the process practical and clear. First, you send through the vehicle details, branding requirements and any artwork you already have. If needed, we check the files and make sure the graphics are the right size for the make and model. Then we confirm the materials, the fitment plan and a working turnaround based on the size of the job.

On the day of fitting, the vehicle should be reasonably clean and dry. For best results, we prefer fitment indoors or under cover, especially during windy weather or high dust conditions. We work carefully on fresh paint too, but if the vehicle has just been sprayed, we will advise on the correct waiting period before application. That saves trouble later and helps the vinyl bond properly.

  • Step 1: Send vehicle details and branding requirements
  • Step 2: Artwork is checked and scaled for the correct panel sizes
  • Step 3: We confirm materials, fitment time and pricing
  • Step 4: The vehicle is cleaned and the graphics are applied
  • Step 5: Final inspection and handover with care advice

Turnaround times for local and fleet jobs

Turnaround depends on the size of the job and how much preparation is needed. A straightforward decal set for one vehicle can often be fitted quickly once artwork is approved and the vehicle is ready. Partial wraps and more detailed fleet branding need more time, especially if there are multiple units and all of them must match.

For business owners and contractors, we try to plan fitment around work hours so vehicles are not off the road longer than necessary. If you have a rollout across several vehicles, we can schedule them in batches. This helps with consistency and makes it easier to manage a growing fleet. In busy periods, booking ahead is worth it, especially before month end or seasonal work rushes.

  • Small decal sets: usually same week, depending on approval and workload
  • Partial wraps: allow extra time for prep and fitting
  • Fleet rollouts: scheduled in batches for consistency
  • Replacements and updates: quicker if the original branding is already on file

Pricing that depends on size, film and labour

Vehicle fitment is priced according to the amount of material, the complexity of the artwork, the surface shape and the time needed on site. A simple set of door decals costs less than a partial wrap with curved panels and window graphics. Reflective film, contour fitting and removal of old adhesive all affect the final price too.

We quote honestly and explain what is included. That usually covers the graphics, labour, basic prep and any agreed extras. If you are comparing options for a company fleet or a single branded bakkie, we can talk you through the difference between standard vinyl, printed graphics and removable magnets so you can choose what suits the vehicle and the budget. No surprises, just a proper quote based on the actual job.

Caring for fitted graphics after installation

Once the graphics are on, a bit of care helps them stay neat for longer. We recommend waiting before the first wash, especially after a full or partial wrap. High pressure washers should not be aimed at the edges and seams, and abrasive cleaners should be avoided. In the Boland sun, parked vehicles can get hot fast so shaded parking where possible will help too.

For work vehicles that run daily, routine checks are worth doing at service intervals. Look at corners, door edges and any high wear areas for early lifting or scuffing. If you spot damage from a branch, fence or load impact, we can replace selected sections without redoing the full vehicle in many cases. That saves time and keeps your branding looking consistent.

  • Wait before the first wash after installation
  • Avoid strong solvents and hard scrubbing on the vinyl
  • Do not spray high pressure water directly at edges
  • Check corners and seams during regular vehicle servicing
  • Ask about replacement sections if only one area is damaged

Questions we get asked

Do you fit graphics on new vehicles?

Yes, but we first check that the paint and panel surfaces are ready for application. If the vehicle has just been sprayed, we will advise on the safe waiting period before fitment so the vinyl bonds properly.

Can you handle one vehicle and also a full fleet?

Yes. We fit single vehicles, small business units and larger fleets. For multiple vehicles, we keep the placement consistent so the branding looks uniform across all of them.

What should I bring to the fitting appointment?

Bring the vehicle clean and dry, along with any relevant artwork approval details. If there are special instructions, such as door handle positions or equipment on the body, tell us beforehand so we can plan the fitment properly.
