1. Website use and acceptance of terms
This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd for Catprints and Signs, based in Paarl and serving Wellington and the wider Boland. The site is provided for business information, product enquiries and service requests relating to printing, signage, vehicle graphics and related work.
By accessing the site, browsing pages or sending an enquiry through the contact form, you confirm that you will use the site lawfully and for legitimate business purposes. If you do not agree with these terms, you must stop using the site.
2. Enquiries, quotations and order confirmation
Any pricing, turnaround time or product specification shown on the site is an invitation to enquire and not a final offer unless confirmed in writing. Final pricing may change once artwork, sizes, quantities, substrate choice, installation needs or site conditions have been checked.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quote, or if no period is stated, for a reasonable time only.
- An order is accepted only once we confirm it in writing and, where required, receive approved artwork or deposit payment.
- Rush work, reprints, updates and on-site fitment may carry extra charges depending on the job.
3. Artwork, proofs and client responsibility
Clients remain responsible for the accuracy of spelling, contact details, colours, measurements, registration details and any legal notices supplied for printing or signage. We can check artwork for layout, bleed, resolution and obvious errors, but we are not responsible for mistakes already present in supplied text or files.
If you approve a proof, sign-off or preview, you accept that the job will be produced according to that approved version. This includes business cards, flyers, banners, safety signs, stickers, canvas prints, light boxes, magnets, contra-vision and vehicle graphics.
- Check all names, numbers, directions and permit wording carefully before approval.
- Make sure vehicle artwork matches the actual vehicle model and fitment areas.
- Where municipal or site rules apply, you must confirm that the content and placement are allowed.
4. Production, materials and site conditions
We work with print and sign materials suited to the intended use, but final performance depends on exposure, handling and maintenance. Coastal humidity, strong sun, wind, dust and regular washing can affect the life of printed and installed items over time.
For outdoor signs, banners, vinyl, wraps and window frosting, reasonable variation in colour, finish or alignment may occur between batches and over time. This is normal in print production and does not automatically mean the work is faulty.
- Measurements supplied by the client must be accurate if the item is to fit existing frames, walls, vehicles or windows.
- Installation access, wall strength, surface condition and electrical supply must be suitable on the day of fitment.
- Where a site in Paarl, Wellington, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Worcester or Malmesbury needs special access, this must be disclosed in advance.
5. Intellectual property and content ownership
All original text, layouts, page structure, images and site materials displayed here remain the property of Catprints and Signs or are used with permission. You may not copy, reuse, reproduce or distribute site content for commercial use without written consent.
When you supply logos, slogans, photographs or artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that they do not infringe another party’s rights. You also give us permission to reproduce that material for the purpose of completing your order.
6. Liability limits, complaints and legal notice
To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Catprints and Signs and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, missed deadlines caused by late approvals, or damage arising from misuse of a product after delivery or installation. Our total liability is limited to the value of the specific job supplied.
If you have a complaint, please use the enquiry form on our contact page and include your invoice number, job details and clear photographs where relevant. We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time.
- These terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice.
- Continued use of the site means you accept the latest version of the terms.
- South African law applies, and any dispute will be handled in a South African court with proper jurisdiction.
